What is Discernment Counseling?
Discernment counseling offers a unique opportunity to pause, reflect, and find clarity about the future of your relationship.
This short-term process isn’t about making rushed decisions—it’s about giving both of you a voice and a deeper understanding of where you stand. In our sessions, I’ll guide you through exploring your relationship’s strengths, identifying patterns that may be holding you back, and helping you decide the best path forward with confidence and compassion.
Discernment counseling can be a turning point, whether it leads to a renewed commitment to work on your relationship or a mutual decision to part ways with respect and understanding. Whatever the outcome, this process empowers you to take the next steps with hope and clarity.
Is Discernment Counseling
right for me and my partner?
Discernment Counseling is designed for couples who are uncertain about the future of their relationship. It’s particularly helpful when one partner is considering separation or divorce, while the other hopes to repair and rebuild the connection. Unlike traditional couples therapy, the goal of discernment counseling is not to solve relationship problems but to help both partners gain clarity and confidence about the best next steps for their relationship.
